Virtually all Greenvillians say that have a medical home, a regular place to go when they are sick or need medical advice. This has increased slightly over the years as new facilities have been built throughout the community.

39% of respondents believe physicians do not accept new patients, and almost half do not believe that doctors don’t accept Medicare or Medicaid.

Healthcare has changed dramatically in the last five years.

Over the last five or ten years, access to healthcare facilities, including convenience of facilities, availability of places to get care, and the availability of hospital services, has improve dramatically. The primary challenge has been the escalating costs of healthcare, the convenience of facilities, and the cost of prescription drugs.
